Nate Herring

Raised in a rural town in Marlboro, Vermont, Nate Herring graduated from Brattleboro Union High School in 2001. He attended the University of Miami for two years, where he played football for the Miami Hurricanes and pursued degrees in liberal arts and economics. After transferring to Yale in 2003, Nate changed his major to psychology and served as President of the Zeta Psi Fraternity. During his junior year at Yale, he researched, designed, and secured funding to build an outdoor adventure challenge course and adventure therapy program for adolescents suffering from mental illness, poverty and neglect. After graduating from Yale in 2006, Nate founded College Outreach with the help of two friends, Miles Hall and Elliott Stark. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors and is actively involved with College Outreach while pursuing graduate studies at Oxford University.
